I am about to embark on another transition in my life, and lets just say that without constant rumination on life’s lessons, I’d probably be stressed the fuck out. But life has taught me to chill… And with that said, lets just jump into some more life lessons, and feel free to check out part one if you missed it! life has taught me to...NOT WASTE TIME OVERTHINKING: I remember when I’d spend many hours in bed just overthinking. About EVERYTHING. I felt as though I had to always be in control of my emotions and mentally prepared for all types of situations, most of which NEVER HAPPENED. With that said, and I’m sure if you think about it you’d see the truth in it, most that we worry, fuss and spend sleepless nights thinking about rarely happens. The most we can do is focus on the moment, live fully in it, enjoy life, do what we can (and do it well), then take our asses to sleep at night. If we are in a good state of mind, then we will be able to deal with any situation that comes our way… TRUST THE UNIVERSE: Sometimes the Universe confuses me (like now in my current situation), but I’ve learned to trust it, even in all of the confusion. By doing so, I’ve left sleepless nights behind me, and I have laid the anxiety of the unknown to rest. Have faith in yourself and in your God (if you have one). The stronger your faith grows, the more risks you will take, and many times those risks may lead you right into the life you’ve always dreamed of. As my friend B.J always says, “trust your wings" , I promise they will take you places. So go ahead and give those gorgeous wings a nice test flight! BE GRATEFUL: Be grateful for everything. For waking up, having two legs to walk, for clean air (especially if you’re living in China), and sunshine. Be grateful for your friends, warm bed, life and freedom! There are so many things around us, big and small that we should appreciate, they make all the crap that may happen in our lives non-factors. Lets try to focus on the good shit, and proceed with a spirit of gratitude and hopefully the Universe would give us more to be grateful for. BE A FIXER: Don’t see your problems, just see yourself solving them. I know, easier said than done, but challenge yourself to try this just once, and you’d be addicted to solving these “problems” that life seems to let come our way. I always ask myself, why should I spend time worrying when I can spend that time not worrying? It’s really that simple. Do your best and keep it moving. COMMIT TO HAPPINESS: I must admit that I am a bit afraid of commitment, but I have committed to one thing, which is my happiness. I honestly didn’t care about being happy when I was younger; I just wanted success and money, even if it were at the cost of my happiness. But oh how time and circumstances have changed my mindset! I am now on a journey, a journey where the intended destination is everlasting joy. A joy that comes from within and created by myself, and that isn’t disrupted by any external circumstance. So I urge you, if you haven’t already embarked on this journey to joy, please give it a try! CELEBRATE LIFE WITH PEOPLE WHO LOVE LIVING: I’ve been celebrating everyday life with people who acknowledge that it’s worth celebrating, and it has made me recognize the magic that occurs in every day life. I've stopped just looking forward to the weekend to have fun, and have challenged myself to get involved in fun and interesting activities during the week. I attend workshops, forums, creative events, art exhibits and of course go out for dinner or drinks. Having friends that also see the importance of celebrating life every day makes this "challenge" even better do these activities together, and in turn we grow, stay motivated, and form even greater bonds of friendship! These pictures were actually taken during a visit to M50, Shanghai's art district. My friend Oksana and I were checking out the art galleries there and ran into Natalia, a fellow designer (8X8 Studio handbag), who was with her photographer (Mario), taking pictures of her bags. We took advantage of the moment and did a quick collaboration! Photographer: Mario Grey

You don't have any idea how this article gave me the comfort that I need right now. It's seems like you've learned a lot from the life you're living right now. Of course, I am happy to see that you've been enjoying life and all the learnings that are coming. You're right, it would be useless to overthink and seen most of your time doing it. It's okay to look past the possibilities, but it's always okay not to overthink. Don't let it occupy most of your time that you can use enjoying the timer and the life that you have.
